This month I am focused on giving practical tips to help people become more aware of their personal values, and use them in the workplace.
This exercise will help! This coming week, take a note about a decision at work, and ask yourself:
#1. Could I have achieved a better outcome by making a different decision?
#2. Could I have achieved a better outcome by making the same decision again, but executing it differently?
A “better outcome” feels “better” because it resonates more with your personal values.
This practical lesson helps you work out how to change your choices to reflect more of your personal values – and become more objective about improving your performance at work.
