Pre-COVID19 networking was easy. Client relationship building over a casual lunch, a Friday night drink or a friendly round of golf were normal ways of developing new business. Now that familiar world seems far away.

Virtual meetings can make personal contact feel distant, and we’re all missing that face-to-face connection with new prospects, and the new talent we need to support growth in these times of adversity.

My coaching tip is to set aside 20 minutes per week to chat with new people. Reach out and build connections with new talent now…so you can be ready to win new business in the future. Networking still works, even if it’s virtual.
